Yurtward Bound is a nature-based summer day camp where kids spend their days outdoors, learning through play, exploration, and real connection. We believe in slowing down, getting a little dirty, and giving children the space to build confidence, creativity, and friendships—without screens. Every day is designed to feel safe, joyful, and rooted in the natural world.
Life at Camp
Days at camp are spent outside—exploring trails, creating with our hands, playing freely, and learning new skills. Campers are encouraged to try new things, learn outdoor skills, and move at a pace that feels right for them. Each day blends structure with plenty of space for imagination and play.
